Six candidates stand for four seats on douzaine

A contested election will be held in the Vale next week as six candidates have come forward for the four seats that are up for re-election on the douzaine.
The details have been published today in La Gazette Officielle in the Guernsey Press and the elections will be held at the Douzaine Room at 7.30pm on Wednesday.
In all, there will be four separate elections: for the office of Constable, douzeniers, for the Parochial Cemetery Committee and for the the Vale Parish Church Property Management Board.
The details are as follows and the new candidates for douzenier are Mr Torode and Mr Goddard:
