Special Liberation exhibition opens today

A reminder that a special Liberation Exhibition with a unique Vale emphasis opens today at the parish douzaine room. Doors open at 10am and the display, specially curated by Douzenier Victoria Robinson, tells the story of various aspects of life under occupied rule when the German forces controlled the island.

Vale Parish dog-fouling survey

Dog-fouling has long been an issue in the Bailiwick and certainly in our Parish. Last year the Vale Commons Council took part in a study, over a 30 day period, to determine the extent of dog fouling on the Common. This year, your Douzaine have decided to support a similar parish study.
