Douzaine election results announced

Following a deferred election to elect four douzeniers to the Vale Douzaine, the votes have been counted and the results declared. They are as follows:

Victoria Robinson – 177 votes – elected

Richard Digard – 141 votes – elected

Oliver Goddard – 97 votes – elected

John Niles – 65 votes – elected

Jeremy Smithies – 57 votes

Martyn Torode – disqualified, seconder not on electoral roll

In all, 219 people voted, a turnout of 4.3% as there are 5,101 parishioners on the electoral roll.
