How to pay your 2019 dog tax

Sun 30 Dec 2018

Details have been published to explain how people with dogs can pay the annual tax on them. The announcement, by all the island's Constables, has appeared in La Gazette Officielle and sets out the rate - £10 per animal - and how to pay.

No tax is payable on any dog under the age of six months or one that is kept and used solely by a blind or deaf person for his or her guidance.

Vale parishioners can pay the tax at the Douzaine Room, Maraitaine Road, Monday to Friday from 2nd January 10am - 1pm; and Mondays throughout January from 5pm until 7pm.
